We are once again proud to support the great work being done by Operation Gratitude with our monthly donation for the month of February.  Operation Gratitude seeks to lift morale in the Military Community by sending care packages addressed to individual Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines deployed overseas, to their children left behind, and to Veterans, First Responders, Wounded Warriors and their Care Givers.

Operation Gratitude Care Packages contain food, hygiene products, entertainment items and personal letters, all wrapped with good wishes of love and support.   Through Collection Drives, Letter Writing Campaigns, Craft Projects and Financial Donations, Operation Gratitude provides all Americans  a way to express their respect and appreciation to the men and women of the U.S. Military in an active, hands-on manner.

As the 2012 year gets started, we are pleased to announce that our January Donation was made to the C.O.P.S organization.  Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc. provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families and affected co-workers of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty as determined by Federal criteria.  Furthermore, C.O.P.S. provides training to law enforcement agencies on survivor victimization issues and educates the public of the need to support the law enforcement profession and its survivors.

MISSION:
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

Hero Energy Shot isproud to announce that our October donation was made to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.  October is Fire Prevention month and so we felt that it was only appropriate to make our donation to this fine organization as we look to do even more to honor those firefighters who have paid the ultimate price for their service.

Since 1992, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation has developed and expanded programs to lead a nationwide effort to honor America’s fallen firefighters. Their mission is to honor and remember America’s fallen fire heroes and to provide resources to assist their survivors in rebuilding their lives.

We are proud to support the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

As we continue to expand and grow, we also continue to support those who serve and protect us.  And also remember those that have paid the ultimate price for their service.  Our September 2012 donation was made to Wreaths Across America to assist in their efforts to remember our Veterans.

Wreaths Across America is a nonprofit organization founded to continue and expand the annual wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery begun by Maine businessman, Morrill Worcester, in 1992.

While many remember the tragedies of 9/11 on the anniversary, we here at Hero Energy make it a priority to always remember 32MM Americans who put on a uniform to keep us safe every day.  As is our tradition we continue to make monthly donations to organizations that support our heroes.  So in memory of those police, firefighters and EMTs who made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11/01, we have made a donation to the 9/11 Memorial Project.

Hero Energy Shot is proud to support the Travis Manion Foundation with its July Donation.  This marks the 24th consecutive month that Hero Associates has made a donation to organizations that support our heroes.  This also marks what we hope will be a long-standing partnership with the Travis Manion Foundation and the 9/11 Heroes Run.

The Foundation’s Mission is to assist our nation’s veterans and the families of Fallen Heroes.  We will continue the service to community and country exemplified by these Fallen Heroes and veterans.  In the spirit of the Fallen, we will foster strength of mind and body to create a generation of future leaders.

Inspired by Travis’ visit to Rescue Team One in New York City before his final deployment to Iraq, the Travis Manion Foundation holds 5K runs to honor September 11th.  The annual 9/11 Heroes Run is held to remember, honor and support our men and women in the Armed Services, Police, Firefighter and emergency responder communities who protect and serve our country every day.  Hero Energy Shot is proud to announce that it has joined as a sponsor of the 9/11 Heroes Run in Travis’ memory.
