Operation Gratitude Care Packages contain food, hygiene products, entertainment items and personal letters, all wrapped with good wishes of love and support. Each October, the Foundation sponsors the official national tribute to all firefighters who died in the line of duty during the previous year.

Our local heroes need to be prepared at a moment’s notice to protect and save lives. Many first responders are forced to make do with older equipment and have limited access or no access to available resources. Our goal is to ensure that we are able to impact local communities by providing fire departments, law enforcement and EMS with the tools they need.
The Travis Manion Foundation’s Mission is to assist our nation’s veterans and the families of Fallen Heroes. We will continue the service to community and country exemplified by these Fallen Heroes and veterans. In the spirit of the Fallen, we will foster strength of mind and body to create a generation of future leaders.
The AFF was established in 2001 as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization under the U.S. Department of Defense’s America Supports You program. Through our Help Save Our Troops campaign, the organization proactively educates Americans about the hidden wounds of war, including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and advocates for those troops and veterans who have suffered these hidden wounds. In addition to Help Save Our Troops, the AFF continues to administer its long-time family financial assistance, recreational therapy, and school programs.
